All I knew about this ...I also enjoyed this series. All I knew about this time period is the Hollywood version of what came after. I knew nothing about what Irish citizens thought at the time nor what drove radicalization. Thank you for sharing that side of the story. <br /><br />I am now curious about what the majority of Scots felt at the time of the Scottish Risings a century earlier. it was a very different type of rising, with a whole restoration behind it. But was it what the majority wanted? Perhaps a topic for another series. Basically, I knew nothing of the Easter Rising and the whole mini series has been extremely interesting. Where you find the time to do the background reading, script writing, recording and editing I have no idea. The output is positively prodigious. Book writing cant be far off.
